Summer 2022 has seen my return in Democratic Republic of Congo, in the village of Kalebuka, filming for Malaika.
At this stage, I can't say much about the purpose of the filming...but it was really exciting to experience again the whole eco-system around Malaika. My last trip was in 2019 so it was great to see again the students, the community and the overall growth in all directions.
Whilst on the ground, I had the chance to capture the opening of the new technical and mechanical classes at the Community Center, a partnership between Caterpillar Foundation and Congo Equipment.
